By the numbers
Providence is our primary RI hub. Mix of historic single-family on the East Side and multifamily across the city — commercial work meaningful on the small-business side too.
Our crew dispatches from our Bristol, CT office and reaches every Providence ZIP within standard service radius — no third-party crews, no "we will hire local" handoff. 320+ Providence homes already have a Teamsun system on the roof.
We work in East Side, Federal Hill, Mount Pleasant, and Wayland Providence neighborhood — plus the surrounding Cranston, Pawtucket, East Providence area.

“Teamsun was the only crew that walked the roof, named the panel brand, and answered every question without checking with someone. Same lead tech came back a year later when I added a battery.”
“Three of my neighbors had Teamsun, so I called them. The crew was on my street five days after I signed.”
“They knew the historic district secretary by first name. Saved us six weeks on permitting alone.”
“Same lead tech who installed it came back four years later to swap an inverter under warranty. No charge, no excuses.”
A typical 8 – 12 kW residential install in Providence runs $25,000 – $40,000 before incentives. Residential ITC no longer applies in New England, but with high regional energy costs and Rhode Island state programs, effective residential costs still land 30 – 50% lower over the first five years. Commercial systems also stack up to 40% federal ITC. We model your specific roof in Aurora using Rhode Island Energy rate data.

No. Every Teamsun install — in Providence and across our entire CT, MA, and RI service area — is done by W-2 employees on our payroll. The lead tech who walks your roof at the site visit is the same lead tech who installs your system.
If your roof is over 12 years from end-of-life, we strongly recommend our solar + roofing bundle — re-roof and install solar on the same timeline. Providence's housing stock makes this a common scenario; we have the crew and process for it.
Yes — see our battery retrofit service. RI battery storage programs accept retrofitted batteries on existing solar. Most national installers refuse this work; we built a team around it.
