Teamsun is the residential and commercial install brand of Green Enterprises, LLC, a privately owned New England solar installer. This policy describes how we collect, use, store, and share information when you visit teamsun.us, request a quote, or become a Teamsun customer.
Information we collect
We collect three categories of information:
- Information you provide directly — name, address, phone, email, ZIP code, utility, average bill, and project notes you submit through the Get a Quote form, Contact form, or in conversation with our team.
- Information collected automatically — IP address, browser, device type, referring URL, and standard server log data when you visit teamsun.us.
- Information we collect to install your project — once you become a customer, we collect roof imagery, utility-bill records, electrical-panel photos, and any documentation required for permitting and utility interconnection.
How we use your information
- To respond to quote requests and provide a written, Aurora-modeled proposal.
- To design, permit, install, and service your solar, battery, or roofing project.
- To file federal, state, and utility incentive paperwork on your behalf.
- To communicate with you about scheduled work, changes, and post-install service.
- To improve our website, service quality, and operational processes.
- To comply with legal obligations (tax filings, utility regulator reporting).
How we share your information
Teamsun does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only as needed to deliver your project — with the parties below, and only the minimum information required:
- Local permitting offices — your name, address, and project specifications, as required by law for building and electrical permits.
- Your utility — your name, address, account number, and system specs for net metering, interconnection, and program enrollment (CT ESS, MA Connected Solutions, etc.).
- Equipment manufacturers — your contact information for warranty registration on panels, inverters, and batteries.
- Financing partners — only if you apply for a loan or PPA, and only the application data you authorize us to submit.
- Service providers — Aurora Solar (design and CRM), email and SMS providers, and similar tools required to operate our business.
How we protect your information
We use industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Customer records are stored in Aurora Solar and our internal project-management systems behind authenticated access. We do not store payment-card information on our servers.
Cookies and analytics
Teamsun.us uses minimal cookies for essential site functionality and basic analytics. See our cookie policy for the specific cookies in use.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or ask us to delete information that is no longer necessary for an active project. Email Dan@teamsun.us with the request and we will respond within 30 days.
Note: information we are legally required to retain (permits, utility filings, IRS-related cost-basis documentation) cannot be deleted while retention obligations apply.
Children
Teamsun.us is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. The "Effective" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email to active customers.
