On-site or remote design
Aurora-modeled proposal using your real roof, real shade, and real utility rate. Conservative production estimates — no best-case math.
Custom-designed rooftop systems for homes across Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Tier 1 panels, in-house W-2 crews, and 47-day contract-to-install — backed by 9,000+ New England roofs.
By the numbers
No tier downgrade after you sign. No 'we'll figure that out at install.' Every quote includes the same four things by default.
Aurora-modeled proposal using your real roof, real shade, and real utility rate. Conservative production estimates — no best-case math.
The lead tech who walks your roof at the site visit is the same lead tech who installs the system. Never a subcontractor.
Panel brand named on your quote — no swaps, no surprises. Same gear we put on our own families’ roofs.
Permits, utility interconnection, ITC filing, state rebates — we file every form with you, not for you to chase.
A 15-minute call, then a remote or on-site visit. Aurora-based design, panel and battery brand named on the proposal.
Permits filed, utility interconnection submitted, and equipment staged at our Bristol warehouse.
Local crew, local trucks. Most systems installed & completed in one day. Final inspection scheduled before we leave.
PTO from your utility, ITC and rebate paperwork filed, and 25 years of local service after the system goes live.

Up to 40%
Still available for commercial systems. Residential ITC no longer applies in New England, but our systems still save homeowners money on high energy costs.

Certified CT ESS Install Program Partner. Minimum $5,000 rebate — depending on location, up to 100% of the battery cost can be covered.
Net metering
Full retail
1:1 offset on what your panels send back to Eversource or UI.
CT property tax exemption
$300 – $700/yr
System value excluded from your assessment. Sales tax also exempt.
Four ways to finance your install. Cash gets the highest lifetime savings; PPA gets you on the system at $0 down.
$0 financing, max savings
Pay upfront. You own the system day one and keep every dollar of bill savings for 25+ years. Commercial cash buyers also claim up to 40% federal ITC; residential ITC no longer applies in New England.
Best for: highest lifetime ROI
5–25 yr terms
Secured or unsecured, $0 down available. You still own the system. Commercial owners also claim up to 40% federal ITC. Most homeowners pick this.
Best for: own the system, spread the cost
$0 down · 620+ FICO
Third-party owns the system. You buy the power at a fixed rate typically below your utility from day one. Underwrites at 620 FICO — the floor most national installers will not touch.
Best for: $0 down with imperfect credit
Pre-paid 25-yr lease
Pay the lease upfront, lock in the rate for 25 years. Third-party handles all O&M; you skip ITC paperwork.
Best for: cash buyers who want hands-off O&M
Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Every pin is a Teamsun install. We're licensed in ME, NH, VT, and FL too.
“Teamsun was the only crew that walked the roof, named the panel brand, and answered every question without checking with someone. Same lead tech came back a year later when I added a battery.”
“Three of my neighbors had Teamsun, so I called them. The crew was on my street five days after I signed.”
“They knew the historic district secretary by first name. Saved us six weeks on permitting alone.”
“Same lead tech who installed it came back four years later to swap an inverter under warranty. No charge, no excuses.”
A typical 8 – 12 kW Teamsun system runs $25,000 – $40,000 before incentives. Residential ITC no longer applies in New England, but with our high energy costs, state rebates, and full retail net metering, our systems still save homeowners money — typically 30 – 50% lower effective cost over the first five years.
47 days on average. About 7 – 10 days for the site visit and design lock, 20 – 30 days for permitting and utility interconnection, one day on the roof for most systems, and 5 – 15 days for utility approval (PTO) once we close it out.
No. Every Teamsun residential install is done by W-2 employees on our payroll. The crew lead who walks your roof at the site visit is the same crew lead who installs your system, and the same person who picks up the phone if you call about a service question in year five.
Tier 1 only — REC Group, Q CELLS, and Silfab as our default brands. The exact panel and inverter brand are named on every proposal. We do not swap brands at install without explicit re-approval.
Yes. We size your inverter and electrical panel to be battery-ready on every install, even if you defer the battery to a later date. We also retrofit batteries onto systems we did not install — most installers refuse this work.
Residential ITC no longer applies in New England, but state and utility incentives still carry the math: CT ESS battery rebates start at $5,000 (up to 100% of battery cost by location), MA Connected Solutions performance payments, full retail net metering across all three states, plus CT property and sales tax exemptions on the system value. Commercial systems remain eligible for up to 40% federal ITC. We file every form with you.
Yes. Our PPA underwrites at 620 FICO — the floor most national installers will not touch. You pay $0 down and a fixed monthly rate that is typically below your current utility bill from day one.
If your roof is over 12 years from end-of-life, we strongly recommend bundling. We re-roof and install solar on the same timeline — one crew, one contract, one warranty. See the solar + roofing service.
You call our Bristol office at 203-903-4091 and a person picks up. Manufacturer warranties cover panels for 25 years, inverters for 10 – 25 years, and batteries for 10 – 15 years. We service systems we installed and ones we did not.
We use Aurora to model production based on your real roof geometry, your real shade (from satellite imagery), and your real utility rate schedule. Estimates are conservative on purpose — most of our customers see equal or higher production than the proposal predicts.
